![]() But this does not mean tomorrow after price tick the max price station won't have only demand of <800. The build I used to run on Xbone had 2 C3 cannons and 2 C2 PACs for sheild stripping. IMO switch up for some C2 PACs or Cannons. The max price station has a demand of 2,083 today 5 October 2020 so you can mine in a cutter with 512 cargo racks and not pay any bulk sales tax. 1 more reply Missles are pretty underpowered, the dumb fire ones are okay but the fact theyre countered so easily and have such low ammo makes it not worth it. in which case you skip mining for the day or use a small ship as 25% starts at 25 tons. Those who don't look before they mine get hit buy bulk sales tax as the demand at high sale station could start at 100. between 8 demand adjust the ships to what ever 25% is of the demand or sell to FC for 715K using cutter. over 2048 you mine in a cutter because yep you guessed it the normal 512 build of the cutter is under 25% for the day. just under under 800 and you dont have a FC you use a Python because 192 goes into 800 more than x4 times so its under 25%. NO FC then you have to adjust the ship you use PER day to match the demand for the HIGH sale station. If your selling to FC just use the cutter.įC owners use cutters and store Items on there FC then adjust the "sale cargo transport" ships to the current demand, 25% of station demand is required to not get hit by bulk sales tax. The Imperial Clipper is a heavy multipurpose ship, mostly used for trading because of its large cargo capacity and defensive capabilities if it does get under attack. So thinking to get back into Cutter - am I missing something? So I thought - that sounds cool, so I sold my mining Cutter and went for mining Clipper - now that I just sold 192t of painting for 715k I started wondering - what is the benefit of the Clipper for mining and honestly speaking - found none - yes it's faster and handling better, but - it's not like I need it, so with Clipper I basically lost cargo hold, and gained pretty much nothing. Reading through topics here I noticed that people were going for medium ships for nimbleness and - drop in, mine fast, cash out type of play. My Cutter was boasting 520t cargo hold and was doing more or less fine. I started mining with mildly engineered Cutter (have been primarily Cutter driver for a couple years now). So, I am making my money with Painite mining, particularly map assisted version of it. Most NPC ships this will probably save you 1 second instead, since they tend to be much slower on average.O7 CMDR's, I am about to sell my Imperial Clipper that I built for mining, but wanted to see if I am doing it wrong. Those extra 15 m/s means that you can put an extra 3km between you and them 4 seconds faster (assuming you're already 100 m/s faster) that can mean the difference between your shields popping or not. ![]() If you play in open at CGs you'll learn that speed is relative when it comes to gankers and beng 1 m/s faster means you're never going to get out of range of their guns in time (although that counts when outrunning missiles). No need to even engineer it, just buy one when you reach your destination. Not only will it give you a little more speed, but it will drop your energy requirements, which might free up room elsewhere. If FSD range isn't a concern, then I suggest dropping down to the smallest D rated FSD you can equip. ![]() I'm sure you'll be tweaking it to your playstyle. You'd be surprised by how much punishment a little bi-weave can take. The trade off between speed and hull is determined by how often your shields drop. Repair limpets and AFMU means you don't need to leave the battle if wounded. 2641 HP but jump range increased by 4ly (and fuel scoop!) and speed increased by 15/18 m/s and turning speed by 6 degrees per second Here it is with all those changes, this build is much more hit and run Swapping out hull and module reinforcement for Repair Limpets and AFMU will make you even faster, and a fuel scoop will absorb module damage as well Additionally it will charge 2 seconds faster than Fast Charge! Imperial Cutter Overview Manufacturer Gutamaya Years Produced 3301-Present Type Multipurpose Cost 208,969,451 CR Insurance 10,448,473 CR Faction Empire Faction Rank Duke Specifications Landing Pad Size Large Dimensions 192.6m x 111.1m x 33. ![]() Swapping your shield's experimental from fast charge to Thermal Block will increase that to 170 mj difference. Rarely will NPCs ever try to hit you with anything other than thermal while your shields are up. Swapping over to G5 Thermal + Thermal Block will get you an extra 106 mj of thermal shields. You'll get 10 m/s cruise and 15 m/s boost if you swap to lightweight hull at the expense of 655 hull. ![]()
